391. wow, some of these comments are so freaking racist. i already posted a comment with my opinion on this...but geez. i think i've just been disproved by all these, "well, you black people haven't gotten to the nineteenth century yet," and "bet is stupid" comments....it sucks that you guys are grown and you still don't know how to have a diplomatic conversation and emphasize your point without making gross generalizations about the entire race. one angry black man doesn't represent all of us...thanks.

I can't believe the heads of CBS, NBC, and Proctor & Gamble make decisions based on what Sharpton says! Look at this man's past - he has zero credibiliity and to go after TMZ and Don Imus is ridiculous. We refuse to live in a PC obsessed world. 396. People, you should always protect the rights of others, like the Rev. Sharpton is trying to do. Never be afraid to stand up for what is right . It is not "using" a race card to criticize name calling. Furthermore, name calling is more than just words it is also the ideas that are being exposed, and the hearts of thoes expressing the ideas.

People cannot be racist since we all are "one race, the human race".
Some people are just mean and they use the misnomer," race, racism etc." to conceal
this fact. Consequently their meaness is channeled into hate towards a group that the society accepts as a scapegoat.

Rev Sharpton nor any of your black brothers created the name ho. The word is a derivitive of the word whore which represents the oldest profession in the world. The most infamous whore in history was identified in scripture thousands of years ago.

Rev Sharpton is our brother, and we need to articulate a rational dialogue with each other, and him. It is obvious that some of you, and "YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE" do not like the fact that you all have a brother named Al Sharpton, and "YOU ARE YOU BROTHER'S KEEPER."

Please stop invoking Dr King's name in an attempt to discredit and to ridicle the good that Rev. Sharpton tries to do. I am female, elderly and Jewish and I know for a fact that Dr King woud support the statements that Rev Sharpton made on the issue. In fact Dr. King would be very proud of Rev Sharpton and the Rev. Jessie Jackson. You would be proud of them too if you would come out of the darkness and into the light, and learn to love one another.

404. For the comment left by Lady Burg: You are way out of line on this one. Al Sharpton is not my brother and if he was I would be long gone just not to be linked with him. That is how ashamed I am of him. We are all different in our race and our values. None of us are the same. Don't compare any of us to Al Sharpton, the racist bigot who gets his jollies by entertaining the media and tries to make sure he gets in front of the camera for any and every story he can find. He has not truthfulness and no goodness whatsoever. I don't know who you're talking about, but the Rev.
